CP201 is an intumescent halogen-free eco-friendly FR based on phosphorus and nitrogen. It forms expanded char to block heat and oxygen, delivering low smoke and low toxicity vs halogenated products, compliant with EU RoHS (2002/95/EC) and REACH. CP201 features a high decomposition temperature and wide processing window. It can be used alone or blended with other FRs for PP, glass-filled PP, PE, TPE and TPU via injection, extrusion and compression molding. Combination with selected P-N FRs further boosts flame resistance.
