MCA is an efficient nitrogen-based halogen-free flame retardant featuring low toxicity and low smoke emission. It appears as fine white powder, water-insoluble with oleophilic property and excellent compatibility with organic polymers. Boasting outstanding thermal stability with initial thermal decomposition temperature above 300°C, it fits the processing requirements of engineering plastics. At a loading of 10%~25%, finished nylon achieves UL94 V-0 rating at 0.75 mm, and passes glow-wire tests per IEC60695: GWIT 750°C & GWFI 960°C. Final molded parts feature low density, low smoke generation and minimal mold corrosion. It is specially developed for unfilled PA6 and PA66, ideal for high flame-retardant insulation components and finished products.
